The Town Council has 8 main recreation grounds and 23 children’s play areas.
Many children’s play areas are equipped with basketball posts and there are free tennis courts at Eling Recreation Ground and Testwood Recreation Ground. The play areas are provided with modern safety surfaces and adventurous equipment for various ages of children.
PADDLING POOLS
(Summer Fun from the last weekend in May to the first weekend in September)
The following 3 sites will not open before 12 noon. Open daily including weekends.
Whilst they are locked please DO NOT CLIMB OVER FENCING OR GATES and use 'sites' as the water 'may not be treated and you will not be supervised for safety'.
PLEASE:
(1) DO NOT allow your children to
run around the pool area.
(2) Make sure your children wear
some form of footwear and
swimwear.
(3) Protect your children from the
"hot" sunshine.
(4) Please acompany and supervise your young children on all
visits to the pool sites.

TESTWOOD POOL
(Supervised at all times)
Open 12noon - 6pm daily
At the discretion of Pool Supervisor the pool can be closed at any time without prior warning through bad weather, staff shortages and
vandalism etc.
Please accompany your children
and supervise them whilst they use the pool sites, as we cannot accept that responsibility.
HANGER FARM POOL
(Supervised at all times)
Open 12noon - 6pm daily
At the discretion of Pool Supervisor the pool can be closed at any time without prior warning through bad weather, staff shortages and
vandalism etc.

ELING WATER PARK
(Not supervised at all times)
Open 12noon - 6pm daily
IF WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THIS
SITE AND THE WATER FEATURES HAVE STOPPED JUST PRESS THE RED BUTTON INSIDE THE BLUE CIRCLE ON THE GROUND
AND THE WATER WILL START AGAIN. THIS IS TO CONSERVE WATER WHEN THE SITE IS EMPTY.

POLITE REMINDER
Alcohol is NOT permitted in the Council Pool areas. Anyone thought to be under the influence or in possession of alcohol will be asked to leave the pool area.
Barbecues are not permitted by the pools, play areas or in the recreations grounds.
The Council will NOT tolerate ANY abuse towards the Pool Staff, whether it be verbal, physical or sexual any reasons doing so will be dealt with accordingly.
Please be aware that the use of any photographic equipment is strictly forbidden in and around the pool sites.
