Eling Church

Eling Church on Eling Hill dates back to Saxon Days, although the original Church would probably have been a wooded structure. There are still small areas of the Norman Church visible, but much restoration work was carried out by Benjamin Ferrey in 1863 to 1865 which covered much of the older building.

In the Church is an Altar painting of the Last Supper in the style of Leonardo da Vinci.

For information when the Church is open to the public contact Rev. Chris Rowbery on (023) 8086 6426.
