| Come to Eling Creek, situated at the head of Southampton Water, where you can experience seeing tidal power milling flour on a daily basis. Just over the road from the Mill is the Totton & Eling Heritage Centre, which shows the history of the area from Bronze Age days to the present day. You can even sit in an air raid shelter and experience the sound of bombs dropping all around you. All around the area are interesting historical and ecological walks with views over the water. Eling Church is also well worth a visit being one of the oldest in the New Forest. You can finish your visit off with a snack and drink at the Eling Creek Café with its excellent new and exciting menu. A day of fun for all the family |
