Open Monday to Friday 9.00am -  4pm to the public. Closed for lunch 12.30pm - 1.30pm.

The Town Council are pleased to announce the re-opening, subject to social distancing, of the following facilities:

  1. Community Association’s on a phased basis will be re-opening for pre booked activities from the 6th July 2020
  2. The Council’s play equipment will be re-opened on the 4th July 2020
  3. The Eling Experience will be re-opening for pre booked on the 10th July 2020.  To pre book please call 0230 80863138 between 9am and 4pm Monday to Thursday or 023 80869575 on Friday to Sunday between 10.30am and 4pm.  The Mill will be open  between 10.30am and 4.30pm between Friday and Sunday.  The Tide Mill flour can also now be purchased from the Civic Centre at £3 per bag. The Cafe will be open for take-away only for coffee/tea and cakes.
  4. The Garage Youth Centre will be re-opening as soon as we can put in place ”Covid secure” measures and the Youth Centre will contact its members on that basis.
  5.  Only Testwood paddling pool will be opening subject to meeting with relevant safety requirement inspections on Friday. Please check our web site daily for opening updates. We will be introducing a booking system for when we open. For more information  CLICK HERE.
     

On the week starting the 1st June we will start charging again on the Toll Bridge with separation procedures in place. It would help if users of the bridge have a pound coin available to put into a special net. More details will follow. Both resident and cemetery passes that expired 31 March 2020 will still be valid until 30th August 2020.

FLOUR BACK IN STOCK!
We will be reopening the ElingTide Mill Experience shop for bread flour sales.
Opening times Monday to Wednesday 10am to 1pm.
Contactless card perferred payment.
Bread flour can also be obtained at Cviic Centre offices, cash payments only.  Sunnyfields Farm Shop and Longdown Farm Shop.

In accordance with Government guidelines this area is now open but only on the following basis:-

It may be used  by households and individuals  BUT  it can only be used by 2 persons together who are not from the same household as long a they maintain 2 metres distance

All persons using the facility (unless they are from the same household) must always maintain 2 metres from other persons. (If you cannot do that please do not use the area)

Please maintain advised hygiene methods and we  recommend that you should use hand sanitiser after you have had to touch areas that other persons may have touched and also to wash your hands where possible in accordance with Government guidelines

Totton & Eling is a town of nearly 30,000 population in the New Forest District and in the County of Hampshire. 

Over the last 30 years the Town has been a major growth area almost doubling its population.

Although only a very small area of the Town is actually in the New Forest National Park, Totton and Eling immediately adjoins the beautyof the New Forest.  

Its natural beauty and the grazing of animals on the forest by local people has maintained an historic way of life for centuries and provides a unique environment for local people to enjoy.

Totton & Eling is also close to the coast and a large city, useful for major shopping trips.

The town has a very good mix of housing, good local employment and plenty of essential shopping.

It also has a low unemployment rate of about 1% and the crime rate is low in the area.
