The Town Council provides the following free car parks
(5 hours maximum, between 9am and 3pm):
- Testvale
Testwood Lane (55 spaces)
- War Memorial
Salisbury Rd (101 spaces)

Pay Car Parks
Charged parking is provided by the New Forest District Council:
- Rumbridge Street (150 spaces)
- Winsor Road (85 spaces)
- Elingfield, off High Street (98 spaces)
- Civic Centre, Salisbury Road (80)
- Westfield Road (169 spaces)

There is plenty of FREE car parking in
the town centre and several car parks
have CCTV coverage. |
You can use your New Forest District Council parking clocks in the above car parks. To purchase a parking clock from NFDC online www.nfdc.gov.uk or telephone customer services tel no: 023 80285000 option 4. You can also purchase clocks from the Civic Offices, Totton
2021 Parking Clocks fees:
£25 per annum for short stay
£120 per annum for long stay, or £35 for a three month period:
- 1 January to 31 March or
- 1 April - 30 June or
- 1 July - 30 September or
- 1 October - 31 December.
There are also a number of private retail car parks in the area which provide free parking for a limited period.
Toll Bridge
Totton & Eling Town Council is responsible for collecting Tolls for Eling Toll Bridge which are charged at £1.00 per day. The Toll Bridge is open 7 days a week all year excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day as follows:-
Mon 7am – 6pm
Tue 7am – 6pm
Wed 7am – 6pm
Thurs 7am – 6pm
Fri 7am – 6pm
Sat 8am – 6pm
Sun 9am – 5pm
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the pandemic both cemetery and resident passes have been extended and will expire 31 September 2021.
