Play Areas & Paddling Pools

Totton & Eling Town Council Recreational Facilities

The Town Council has eight main recreation grounds and 23 children’s play areas.

Many children’s play areas are equipped with basketball posts and there are free tennis courts at Eling Recreation Ground and Testwood Recreation Ground.

The play areas are provided with modern safety surfaces and adventurous equipment for various ages of children.

Paddling Pools

The Town Council has managed to open Testwood Pool but due to Government Corona safe guidance, they have to man the pool continually and monitor Covid-19 secure requirements.  The Council are looking to see if it is possible to open one more pool/splash pad but there are issues with lack of trained staff and any new staff training required.  We should know within the next week if it will be possible to open one more pool from the middle of August to the middle of September.  We hope you will understand Covid-19 have doubled the staff requirements to open securely.
